Accessibility Statement

Last Updated: January 1, 2026

1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

WingZen is committed to ensuring that our private aviation charter marketplace is accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We believe that everyone deserves equal access to our platform regardless of their abilities or the assistive technologies they use.

We continuously work to improve the accessibility of our platform and welcome feedback from users about barriers they encounter. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we treat it as an integral part of our development process rather than an afterthought.

2. Accessibility Standards

WingZen aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. These guidelines, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), define how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.

WCAG 2.1 Level AA addresses the following four principles:

  • Perceivable: Information and user interface components must be presentable to users in ways they can perceive.
  • Operable: User interface components and navigation must be operable by all users.
  • Understandable: Information and the operation of the user interface must be understandable.
  • Robust: Content must be robust enough to be interpreted reliably by a wide variety of user agents, including assistive technologies.

3. Accessibility Features

WingZen incorporates the following accessibility features throughout the platform:

3.1 Keyboard Navigation

All interactive elements on the WingZen platform — including buttons, form fields, navigation links, and dropdown menus — are fully accessible via keyboard. Users can navigate the entire booking flow using only the Tab, Enter, Space, and arrow keys, without requiring a mouse or touch input.

Visible focus indicators are displayed on all interactive elements to help keyboard users track their position on the page.

3.2 Screen Reader Support

WingZen uses semantic HTML elements throughout the platform, including proper use of headings, landmark regions (header, main, nav, footer), lists, and form labels. This structure allows screen readers to convey the meaning and hierarchy of content accurately.

Interactive elements include descriptive labels and ARIA attributes where native HTML semantics are insufficient. Status updates and dynamic content changes are announced to screen reader users through appropriate ARIA live regions.

3.3 Color Contrast

WingZen's design system targets a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text against their backgrounds, meeting WCAG 2.1 Level AA requirements. Our primary brand colors have been selected with sufficient contrast for readability.

We do not rely on color alone to convey information. Status indicators, form validation messages, and alerts use both color and text or iconography to communicate meaning.

3.4 Responsive Design

The platform is fully responsive and functions across a wide range of screen sizes, from mobile phones to large desktop monitors. Content reflows to a single column on smaller screens without requiring horizontal scrolling. Touch targets on mobile are sized to meet the 44px minimum recommended by WCAG.

3.5 Text and Readability

Text on the platform can be resized up to 200% using browser zoom without loss of content or functionality. We use a readable system font stack and maintain adequate line spacing to support users with dyslexia and other reading difficulties.

4. Known Limitations

WingZen is currently in active development (MVP phase). While we strive to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA across the platform, some areas may not yet fully conform. Known limitations at this time include:

  • Some third-party components (including payment forms provided by Stripe) are outside our direct control and may have their own accessibility limitations.
  • Complex interactive components such as date pickers and airport search autocomplete are being progressively improved for screen reader compatibility.
  • Comprehensive accessibility testing with assistive technology users is planned as part of our post-MVP roadmap.

We are actively working to address these limitations and welcome reports of any specific barriers you encounter.

5. Feedback and Contact

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of WingZen. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, experience difficulty using any part of the platform, or have suggestions for improvement, please let us know:

Email: support@wingzen.com
Platform: WingZen, operated by WingZen Inc.

When reporting an accessibility issue, please include:

  • A description of the barrier you encountered
  • The page or feature where the issue occurred
  • The browser, operating system, and assistive technology you were using (if applicable)

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days and will work to resolve reported issues as promptly as possible.
