Cancellation Policy

At WingZen, we believe in complete transparency. Each aircraft's cancellation policy is set by its operator and shown clearly at checkout before you pay. Pre-confirmation protections ensure you are never charged until your flight is confirmed.

Pre-Confirmation Cancellations

When you request a booking, your card is authorized (a hold is placed) but not charged. If any of the following happen before the booking is confirmed, the authorization is released and no charge is applied:

You are never charged before confirmation

  • You cancel the booking request
  • The operator declines the booking
  • The operator proposes an alternative time and you decline it
  • The operator does not respond within 12 hours (auto-declined)
  • The booking request expires

Confirmed Booking Cancellations

Once your booking is confirmed and payment has been captured, a cancellation refund applies based on how far in advance you cancel. Cancellation policies are set by the operator of each aircraft and may vary between listings.

Your policy is shown before you pay

The specific cancellation policy for your booking is displayed clearly at checkout before you authorize payment. Review it before confirming.

  • Policies are expressed as the percentage of your total booking cost that will be refunded.
  • The maximum refund on a confirmed booking is 89% of the total cost.
  • Four time windows apply: more than 7 days out, 2–7 days out, 24–48 hours out, and less than 24 hours before departure.
  • Each window may have a different refund percentage depending on the operator's policy.

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method.

Short-Notice Bookings

Flights departing within 24 hours may be non-refundable once confirmed, depending on the operator's cancellation policy for that aircraft. The applicable refund percentage is shown at checkout before you authorize payment.

Operator Cancellations

Full customer protection

If an operator cancels a confirmed booking, you receive a 100% full refund — no exceptions. The operator is also charged an 11% commission penalty. We hold operators to a high standard of reliability.

Time Negotiation

Operators may propose an alternative departure time within 2 hours of your requested time. You have 24 hours to accept or decline. Declining a proposed alternative time is not a cancellation — your authorization is simply released with no charge. You only pay if you accept the alternative and the booking is confirmed.

Booking Modifications

Customers may request changes to a confirmed booking — such as adjustments to the date, departure time, or passenger count — subject to operator approval. Route changes are not supported; if a different origin or destination is needed, the existing booking must be cancelled and a new booking created.

If the requested modification affects the total cost, the operator will send a price quote reflecting the adjustment. You have 24 hours to accept or decline the quote.

Accepted price increases are charged to your card on file; decreases are refunded automatically to your original payment method. Declining a price quote leaves your booking unchanged — no charge or refund is applied.

Split Payment Bookings

Split payment bookings — where the charter cost is shared among multiple passengers — cannot be modified after booking. The multi-party payment structure is locked at the time all co-payers authorize their share.

To make any changes to a split payment booking, the booking must be cancelled and a new booking created. Standard cancellation refund policies apply when cancelling a split payment booking, based on how far in advance of the departure date the cancellation is made.

Dispute Resolution

After your flight is completed, you have a 7-day window to raise any disputes. Our team reviews all disputes and ensures fair resolution for both parties. Disputes can be submitted through your account dashboard under My Flights.

How to Cancel

  1. Log in to your WingZen account
  2. Go to My Flights in your dashboard
  3. Select the booking you wish to cancel
  4. Review the refund amount shown before you confirm
  5. Confirm the cancellation
